The shoes I wear every day are my Doc Martens. Those shoes have been around the world with me, so they seemed like the right shoe to replicate for this project. The entire shoe, including the sole of the shoes (above), is made entirely out of layered masking tape.

Printing in the Pandemic

BFA Progress: Week 13

For this week, I re-photographed my littles beans and used Lightroom to tweak the lighting in most of them. I tried my best with help from my friend that has experience with it. I grouped them based on color and shape, as well as other characteristics.

BFA Progress: Week 11

Past Work Current Work For this week, I decided to re-photograph all of my previous pieces in a normal setting. I used natural light on the patio but rigged a little "photo booth" area where I can get the most open space/light. I had to tweak the lighting a bit in order to ensure that I got the most vibrancy in the photos. Definitely liking the direction I've chosen to go. Of course, I do miss painting but these little pieces are so satisfying that they make up for it. I'll more than likely make some paintings on the side to boost my creative process.
