Location: Musée du Louvre - Jardins des Tuileries Sketches: Importance: This particular place is important to me because I would like to be able to add something more modern to the garden just outside of the Louvre. The museum is old and harbors decades of history within its walls. Adding something contemporary to the garden would be symbolic of all that we, as artists, have accomplished throughout the years. Viewers: I would want everyone to know just how important it is that art has evolved from what it used to be. Logistics: This sculpture will be made out of clay and thread. It will be relatively large, but not too heavy. I would need something to transport the sculptures individual components to the garden -- something along the lines of a cart.
